Colt Mason Tibbitts: Week 27!

Colt this month:
Let your spouse put an ear to your belly -- he might be able to pick up baby's heartbeat (no stethoscope required). Inside the womb, the formation of tiny capillaries is giving baby a healthy pink glow. Baby's also soaking up your antibodies, getting the immune system ready for life outside the womb. Eyes are forming, and baby will soon perfect the blink -- perfect for batting those freshly grown lashes.

Symptoms: Back Ache's, Soreness and Sharp pains from muscles stretching.
Cravings:Orange Fanta & Watermelon
Baby's Movement: He moves ALOT! He makes my whole stomach bounce :)

Extra thoughts: I really wish Brent were here to go through this pregnancy with me!! Im ready to meet Mr. Colt but I can wait another 3 1/2 months :) (hint @ colt...dont come early) lol

It takes a speical woman.....

To love a Sailor....

It's a special kind of love between a sailor and his wife.
A kind of love that can grow stronger when you are worlds apart.
A woman that can stand being alone for 7 or more months.
A man that can stand being away from his wife and children.
A man that has to miss the birth of his child.
A woman that can talk to her husband and tell him everything is great knowing in the back of her mind that the car wont start.
It's not easy being in love with a sailor but it's the best thing ive ever chose to do. I wouldnt trade it for ANYTHING in the world.
I'm so in love with my sailor.

Surviving our first deployment : Day 64

Day 64!

So far everything is going great. Saylor and myself are adjusting to life without daddy.
Dont get me wrong...its very hard but you have to do what you have to do.
Brent is doing good. He misses home but thats to be expected.
Saylor and myself have made a trip back home to Florida for now. We are enjoying our time with family. Letting Saylor get to know everyone. :) We, for the most part, get to talk to Brent once a day. Which is a total blessing!!!! We sure do miss him!!!!   We love you Brent....keep on keeping on!!

She packs. She moves. She follows. Why? What for? How come? You may think she has lost her mind. But actually, she's lost her heart. It was stolen from her by a man. A man who puts duty first, who longs to deploy, who salutes the flag, and whose boots in the doorway remind her that as long as he is her Military Husband.. she will remain his faithful military wife.

D-Day.

Well, It's started. Brent deployed today. I cannot say where too or how long so please don't ask.
I am trying to stay strong for my husband and our children.
Dropping him off this morning was the hardest thing I have ever had to do.
While watching the ship pull out I was ok untill they blew the horn's and for some reason that got to me.
I know I will miss Brent soooooo much words cannot say but I can do this.
I'm a strong woman. I'm a strong mother. I'm a Navy wife.
I love you ITSA Tibbitts.
I'm so proud of you.
Fair winds and following sea's, USS Bataan.
Bring my sailor home safe to his family.
(Waving bye. See you soon baby.)

(Brent's bottom right)

Married for 7 months.

A Successful marriage requires,
Falling in love MANY times
and with the same person.

On the 5th of March we were married for 7 months!
We couldn't be more in love.
With having our sweet baby girl, Saylor and now expecting a new baby we
are getting closer and closer. Brent has become the man I knew he would and I cant help but
falling in love with him over and over again.
Seems like we were just in 8th grade.
I love him more than anything and will continue to love him until my heart stops beating.

Our Trip to Florida!

Hello Sunny Florida!

Well, Brent's ship was pulling into Mayport in Jacksonville so we decided to make a vacation of it.
Saylor and myself flew on our first airplane down to Jacksonville, Fl.
We had so much fun visiting with family and friends.
We were there for a week. We met Brent's ship at mayport the day we go there then headed to my mother in laws house for 2 days then onto my dads house for 2 days then to my sisters to be with her and my mom for 2 days then ended our trip at my father in laws house.
Funny story, I thought I was supposed to fly out on Thursday so we got up at 4:30 a.m to be at the airport. Got there and went to check in and the lady told me my flight was the next day. lol.  I had to call my ride back and tell him to turn around and come get me. lol. So needles to say, I ended up staying an extra day and my father in laws house. lol. Ive never felt so dumb! haha. Oh well!  All in all it was a nice trip but it was nice to be back in my own bed!
We love and miss all of our family and friends! Hope you can come see us sometime soon!

Expecting Baby # 2!

If you haven't heard, we are expecting baby #2!

We are nervous be couldn't be anymore excited!!

Saylor's going to be a big sister!!

So long Jones Family! :(

They say you meet the best people while traveling with the military, it's true!
Shortly after arriving in Virginia we met a family that, little did we know, would be in our hearts forever. Sondra actually ended up being one of the best friends I could ever ask for. She was always there for me whenever I needed her and was someone I could ALWAYS talk to.
She and her husband were the best people we know.
Also, little did I know, I would end up loving her children so much.
One very smart 6 year old little girl,  Sweet, Sweet little 5 year old boy, and one tough little monster but very sweet 3 year old boy. They also became a part of my life so much that when they were told they were moving, they asked "Is Mrs. Brittany coming?" :( I will miss you so much Jones family. You will ALWAYS be close to our hearts. We will keep in touch and NEVER forget your smiling faces!

Saylors Crawling!!!

Not really much to say except,
Saylors Crawling, Run Gustaff!!

We Moved!

In February 2011 we moved to our new home in Norfolk, VA.
Our new homehas two bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, dining area, living room laundry room and spacious yard. We love it mostly because we now live right outside of base so it helps save on gas :) We are not sure if we will stay here the whole time we live here in Virginia but its perfect for us right now.

Here are a few pictures of our new home.

She can sit on her own great. She can ALMOST crawl.

We are as happy as ever!!

I couldn't think of anyone better to spend the rest of my life with <3

Our christmas

Christmas aboard the "Big 5."

Brent had duty on Christmas day so Saylor and myself went to spend the day with him.
It was very nice! We were served a nice dinner and hung out with daddy.
Earlier that morning we woke up and done the "normal" Christmas thing before Brent went to work.

We had a wonderful Christmas even if daddy couldnt be home.

We also went to the USS Bataan Christmas party on December 9th! It was a BLAST!
